Call of the Desert (1930)
This is one of Tom's silent pictures and it is not hard to see why he was a star in the ones he made. As poor the quality that silent film was, his looks translated exceptionally well. My only complaint about this movie is that his head gets cut off in several scenes where is with his pal Hardrock who rescued him from exhaustion and illness. Other than that – simply delicious.
